The Process

Initial Contact

Upon first contact we will briefly discuss your requirements to establish the most appropriate way forward.  This could involve a further discussion over the telephone, a request to view any associated plans, or a site visit.

Site Visit

A site visit can be arranged for a mutually convenient day and time.  We will discuss your ideas regarding design, location, timber species, colour etc. Measurements will be taken for the purpose of creating a quote.

Quote

From the information supplied we will raise a quote which will be valid for 30 days and will give an indication of the timescale involved prior to commencement. If you are unsure of the type of timber you prefer we can provide options for pricing comparison.  If appropriate we will also provide a basic drawing of the proposed project.

Should the quote be acceptable we will require a 25% deposit in order to insert the project into our workshop schedule. At this stage we will be able to provide a more accurate completion date.

Manufacture

Immediately prior to commencement of the scheduled work we may need to take final and precise measurements.  We will liaise with you to arrange a suitable day and time to carry this out.  Once manufacture has begun we will be unable to make any amendments without first agreeing any further cost implications and receiving your written instruction. It is therefore in everyone's interest to be sure about the final plan.

You are welcome to visit the workshop at any stage, although we would ask that you make an appointment just to ensure the appropriate person is available to answer any questions.

Completion

A few days prior to completion we will contact you to arrange final payment and delivery or collection of the goods.  Upon handover we will advise you of any other information relating to the product which you may need.

After Care

We care passionately that every project we complete is done so to our best ability but occasionally issues may arise which may or may not be as a result of the manufacture itself - for instance a door may expand slightly and need adjustment.

As we have complete confidence in both our manufacturing team and techniques we are pleased to offer an assurance that any item of joinery requiring attention as a result of poor workmanship will be given our most serious and speedy attention. We will act in a spirit of fairness and co-operation in order to resolve the matter to our customer's satisfaction.

We cannot, however, accept liability for any damage or defects caused by installation work or repairs carried out by others, insufficient after-care of the product or for glass breakages.

We would welcome a visit, telephone call or email if you are concerned about the product in any way or have any queries about the after care.  We would also love to hear from you just to let us know how delighted you are!
